The Terry A. Taylor Troubadours
The Terry A. Taylor Troubadours are our school’s chorus and is open to all students in 4th and 5th grade and are singing ambassadors for our school. Most rehearsals are on Thursday mornings at 8:05AM; however, we do occasionally have rehearsals on other days and times in order to prepare for our concerts.
Benefits of Chorus
Chorus participation helps children develop in many ways. Research has shown that music education improves children’s academic abilities in reading and math. Music education also teaches discipline, perseverance, teamwork, dependability, and pride in results. Troubadour singers learn to model the behaviors needed for success in life. In addition, our chorus uses its music in service to the community and bring our school together.
